Irene graduated from Northwestern University in March 2017 with a B.A. in Radio/TV/Film and Middle East and North African Studies. This film, which was completed with the aid of an Undergraduate Research Grant, was her first foray into short documentary and explores her interests in memory and cultural trauma. In September 2017, she will start work on a feature documentary on artistic identity among circus artists in Casablanca supported by a Fulbright Creative Arts Grant.
